MAYBE SOONER THAN YOU THINK!

Elvis fans should not get too excited at the prospect just yet…  

Collecting single strands of hair from celebrities by their fans and locks of hair from loved-ones as a personal way of feeling attached and close symbolically was once a common practice.

Before obtaining autographs took over the celebrity fan’s interest. Now it’s ‘selfies’ and pics on our phones that substitutes that feeling of connection.

The latest amazing breakthroughs in DNA cloning research and development also shown in Hollywood movies. More people are trying to collect their favourite celebrity hair samples [some off hairdresser’s and barber’s floors] in the vague idea that they can clone themselves a celebrity – or two – or three someday. Don’t laugh this could happen!

The would-be cloners could be onto a ‘good-thing’ before everyone else, especially if the hair sample is from someone really famous: For instance a guaranteed ½ inch piece of Elvis’s hair will set you back thousands of dollars.

That may be all very well for celebrity fans but what about collecting hair that won’t cost you anything – from people of value to you such as: Brave men and women from the armed forces, firemen, police, paramedics, sporting hero’s or our own chosen super-hero’s.
